A deck that looks bolted on is a deck nobody photographs. Cladding, trim and stone are what make an outdoor room read as part of the building.
Versetta Stone is cast fibre-reinforced concrete with a galvanised steel nailing strip moulded into the back. It screws to the wall like siding — no lath, no scratch coat, no mortar and no mason on site for three days. Panels are 36″ × 8″ and weigh about 17 lb each.
TruExterior trim is poly-ash, a blend of fly ash and polymers with a minimum 70% recycled content. It carries a 20-year limited warranty and is rated for ground and masonry contact — exactly where wood trim rots and PVC moves. It arrives pre-primed and has to be painted, which is a real line in the budget.
Woodtone RusticSeries is a factory-applied wood-look finish on either LP SmartSide engineered wood or fibre cement. Nothing gets painted in your yard. Two separate warranties apply: the coating carries 20 years when factory applied, and the board is warranted by whoever made the substrate.
